Ways to attend Breaking Down Boundaries 2009

1. Join a delegation

The UNSW and USYD Law Schools have kindly agreed to wholly fund 10 individuals from each university. Apart from the funded ticket, delegates will be regular conference attendees.

University of Sydney Students:

CLOSED.

Congratulations to those students that were selected for the delegation.

University of New South Wales Students:

See below.

2. Apply for a Rotary Club of Burwood Subsidy

If you do not attend USYD or UNSW, apply for a Rotary Club Subsidy! The Rotary Club of Burwood have expressed an interest in offering subsidies to individuals that have a proven interest in social justice but lack the financial means to attend the conference. Last year, seven subsidies were awarded to students from as far as Armidale and Perth.

Contact info@breakingdownboundaries.org for more information on the application process.

3. Contact your law student society

Australian National University Students:

The ANU Law Students’ Society has an equity fund for students who require financial assistance to cover registration to the conference.  If you are an ANU student who would like to apply to this fund, please email lssjustice@anu.edu.au with a 250-500 word summary of your current engagement with social justice and/or how you would contribute to social justice at ANU after the conference.  Please also indicate how much of a subsidy you require to attend the conference.

For more information, contact the ANU LSS Vice-President (Social Justice) Sue-Lin Wong at lssjustice@anu.edu.au.

University of New South Wales Students:

All UNSW law students are eligible for a fully sponsored place or a 50% subsidy.

Before applying, please read ‘Breaking Down Boundaries Sponsorship/Subsidies Information’, downloadable by clicking here.
